The club competes in the Scottish Premiership under the Scottish Professional Football League and plays home matches at Pittodrie Stadium; historically Aberdeen achieved notable domestic success and won the 1983 European Cup Winners’ Cup under Sir Alex Ferguson. For the 2025–26 campaign (28 August 2025–11 April 2026) Aberdeen will contest domestic league and cup fixtures across Scottish venues, including home games at Pittodrie and away matches at stadiums such as Celtic Park and Ibrox.
